Environmental and Organic Facts and How you feel
It seems these days everyone has an opinion and no one feels the need to hide it. In this forum we welcome you to comment on facts we have presented and please provide users with some of your own. Remember, a FACT should be cited so as to maintain accuracy--if you are not sure of a true number, or aren't specific, that's fine! We don't mind heresay here, just as long as it is presented as so, for instance: "According to the National Geographic Channel Documentary 'Home By Yann Arthus-Bertrand' 40% of the polar ice caps have melted in the last 40 years" Discuss!

How Does Green Living Apply to Your Religion?
In the Christian Bible, the Book of James states "Faith without action is dead;" in the Muslim Koran, it is written "Then let them accomplish their needful acts of shaving and cleansing;" the Jewish book Leviticus writes "you may eat in a clean place, you and your sons and your daughters with you." Numerous beliefs in Buddhist, Hindu and Neo-Pagan faiths also stress the importance of giving back to the Earth, so how do you incorporate Green Living into your own faith? We want to hear from ALL. Please remember to respect others' beliefs, as this forum is for everyone.

What side of the (political) fence are you on?
It seems that most people associate the Green Movemet with Liberals, Democrats, and/or young people--of course there's nothing wrong with that! But why did this become a one sided issue? Why can't Republicans and Conservatives also be part of the movement? This is a forum for all those who hold true to their political ideologies, and feel they have a stake in the Environmental movement as well. From the young aspiring abstract artist vegan woman looking for ideas for an organic garden, to the middle aged Nascar loving red state father who wants to take his son hunting without seeing an empty 30 pack of Busch Light in the woods, everyone is invited. Republicans and Democrats-join in and let us know what you think.

Green Jobs
This is the area for Job postings--if you know of any jobs in your area in the Green industry, please let everyone know here. Please provide an accurate job description as well as contact information. Keep in mind, these posts are user generated and we at Green Religion cannot monitor them all, so it is a "buyer beware" approach. Research the prospective job opportunity before committing to anything, even an interview. We also provide a link to every State's Government Agency for job opportunities on our main page, so be sure to check there as well (http://www.greenreligionnow.com). Also, if you have found employment through research on this board, or through our main site, let us know here! We would love to hear some success stories!

Questions About Recycling
A Green Religion Myspace friend sent a very good email and made us realize we needed a section for "Questions." Hopefully she will pose her ponderance here (if not I suppose I could relay the question and then provide the answer I came across, but we really like it when people join the board)
